The Price

Walking by the foreshores land

I found a stone all smooth and round,

It felt so good within my hand

It spoke, yet never made a sound

Human do you understand

How I became to be?

A pleasant object in your hand

Then understand and see,

How waves have tossed me to and froe

Through endless night and day,

I did not hide beyond the tide

When it was time to pay.

For rock or human soul alike

The process is the same,

Wouldst thou be perfect, win the price

Then yours needs be the pain.

The Plan

Beyond the veils of stardust
Are our father’s realms of light?
. Where Gods and angels meet to plan
The destiny of mortal man.
For father’s labour by decree
Will lead man to eternity?
To make them holy, make them pure,
To mould them for celestial shore.
Thus, by his power the world’s creation.
A dwelling place for man’s probation.
A time for souls to grow, to learn,
The blessed gift of Christ’s salvation.
To search, to find, for souls to earn
By faith and works their exaltation.

The purpose of Birth

Tread boldly, treat boldly, as you walk here on earth.
Tread boldly, and know He who gave mortal birth,
Has sent you to follow the words of his Son,
Tread boldly and do all that needs to be done.
For to conquer, to win you came to the earth.
To work out your salvation is the purpose of birth.

The Road
The road, the straight and narrow, Christ cautioned all men to pursue.
This road, the straight and narrow, He has built for me and for you
Build it for peace and for safety, when life seems dreary and long,
When Footsteps are weary and tired, the heart devoid off all song,
Then know Friends, as each day dispels the dark night.
The road straight and narrow will lead to the light.
Christ has marked the pass, He has shown the way
That will lead us all Home to our Father someday.

The still small Voice

There’s vanity in most we see, in riches, pride and fame.
The Master said: Give of yourself and blessed shall be your name.
Put far from thee the foolish things the world so freely gives,
The Master said: Come follow me, Come, bid your soul to                                                     live.
For all who serve and ever strive, to live the Masters way,
Will know of peace, of joy and love, from day to lovely day.
The Master said: Take care my child, in all you say and do
The road is narrow, follow on. and I will see you through.
Behold my words are written for all to freely see
The words that mark the way to heaven,
And to Eternity.

Reflections at Christmas

The children play with new gained toys,
The happy games that children play.
Whilst others sit and watch a show
To end this lovely Christmas day.
As for myself I sit and bonder,
Reflect, recall and often wonder
About His life, His humble birth,
A place called heaven; this place called earth.
About the songs I fail to sing, the joys I hide and keep within.
The words that stay unspoken, like seeds in shells unbroken.

Father the son you send to earth
To conquer sin and strife,
To drink the bitter cup alone,
To win eternal life.
To show all men the way back home,
To take us by the hand,
Who came and said: Come follow me!
To fair Emmanuel’s land.

Christmas
Christmas is giving the best that we can, like our father his son gave unto men.
Send him to teach, show us the way, send him to lead us all home someday.
He gave him to live, gave him to die, He loved him, still gave him to you and I.
Let him be born in a manger stall, to nurture the meek, humble the tall.
He knew he would suffer; knew he would die, still on Christmas he gave him to you and I.

Christmas
To bring us joy, to bring us peace, to grand to mortals’ heavens bliss.
Jesus Christ a babe was born, so long ago on Christmas morn.
To teach all men the truth, the way, to love each other day by day.
To show us by example, to share, to love and give,
Teach us by the way he walked, a better life to live.
It’s up to us to read, to pray, to fulfil each promise
God send to earth on Christmas day.

                                       Where you there

Bounteous earth, golden sand,
 Mighty Ocean - Rocky land.
Did you hear him say, let there be" Light”?
As He made the Sun to shine?
 Ordained the dark of night?
As he fixed the planets orbits, when he set the seasons right,
Were you there to watch him sow? the grass, the flower, the tree?
Did you watch the first time ever?
The moon rose ov’er the sea?
Did you see the clouds ablaze? in the sunset's glow?
Were you there to see God's hand, so very long ago?
Did you see the first of creatures?
 Roaming o’er the land?
Were you there to see him breathe? the first breath into man?
Did you hear him as he taught? without faith man would fall?
Tell me rocks, earth, sand and oceans,
 Did you witness all?
thus, our world in endless motion?
Ever more moves on, generations come and go
In this our earthly home, Earth alone remains to see
   The threads that weave eternity.
