Christmas
Christmas is giving the best that we can, like our father his son gave unto men.
Send him to teach, show us the way, send him to lead us all home someday.
He gave him to live, gave him to die, He loved him, still gave him to you and I.
Let him be born in a manger stall, to nurture the meek, humble the tall.
He knew he would suffer; knew he would die, still on Christmas he gave him to you and I.

Christmas
To bring us joy, to bring us peace, to grand to mortals’ heavens bliss.
Jesus Christ a babe was born, so long ago on Christmas morn.
To teach all men the truth, the way, to love each other day by day.
To show us by example, to share, to love and give,
Teach us by the way he walked, a better life to live.
It’s up to us to read, to pray, to fulfil each promise
God send to earth on Christmas day.

                                       Where you there

Bounteous earth, golden sand,
 Mighty Ocean - Rocky land.
Did you hear him say, let there be" Light”?
As He made the Sun to shine?
 Ordained the dark of night?
As he fixed the planets orbits, when he set the seasons right,
Were you there to watch him sow? the grass, the flower, the tree?
Did you watch the first time ever?
The moon rose ov’er the sea?
Did you see the clouds ablaze? in the sunset's glow?
Were you there to see God's hand, so very long ago?
Did you see the first of creatures?
 Roaming o’er the land?
Were you there to see him breathe? the first breath into man?
Did you hear him as he taught? without faith man would fall?
Tell me rocks, earth, sand and oceans,
 Did you witness all?
thus, our world in endless motion?
Ever more moves on, generations come and go
In this our earthly home, Earth alone remains to see
   The threads that weave eternity.

(a Destiny song)

1) We come to earth, don’t really know from where?

Life may be fun or hard to bear.

:|There’s joy and grief along the way,

That’s how things are, that’s how they’ll stay|:

2) We walk in darkness or in light,

We live in peace or choose to fight.

:|Still life will give and life will take,

As destiny unfolds our fate |:

3) We may be poor, or man of fame,

The hour comes, we’ re all the same.

:|For comes to us that final sleep,

Our mortal husk the earth will keep. |:

4) For as life comes, thus it will go,

Well them that lived, well them that know.

:|To trust in God, to grow to learn

Time flies on wings that won’t return.

Judgment Day

When men are placed beneath God's
Microscope on Judgement day.
Where all will be revealed according to his way
When fears and tears, the longings of the heart
When page by page the book of life he reads
From end to start.
When we will stand in his revealing light
Beyond the turmoil of earth bitter blight.
It's then each trembling heard will surly know
How much we failed and strayed whilst here below.
It's then we may admit it's far too late.
To enter through that fair celestial gate,
Dear God of mercy help our eyes to see,
The kind of folks we really need to be,
Teach us obedience, grant us faith and hope
Help us to pass that final test
Beneath your microscope

The light of day

The light of day is fading, the candle’s flame burns low,

Far, far our feet have travelled, a long way still to go

Our goal seams oh so far away, none knows the hour the day

Our weary, wanderings through the world, drawn-out by long delay.

We know we’re here to conquer, to win a victor’s crown

God, father grand the faith, the strength

Seal us to be thein own.

                                         Evening thoughts

Moonlight on the windowsill

World so quiet, calm and still

As this day comes to a close

May all God’s children

Around the world

Find blessed sweet repose.

Spring

Bluest sky, the brightest sun.

A brand-new day has just begun,

Gentle breezes, birds that sing

Tell the world behold, it's spring

Over mountains, hill and vale

Heaven smiles -- all is well

The things I love

A hike in the mountains, to paint by a stream.

Somebody to love, to share all my dreams.

A walk in the park, a ride on my bike.

To sit and enjoy that long upward hike.

To see gods’ creations in valleys below.

To be in a place where time moves real slow.

To ponder, to wonder where all the time goes,

The feel of warm sand as it creeps through my toes.

A stroll by the ocean, a swim in the sea.

A book on my lap, feeling happy and free,

No running, no planning, no pressure at all

No doing, perusing, no telephone call,

I long for some solitude, long for a place,

Where some off-life’s madness will finally cease

Where my weary soul will find solace and peace.

Follow

Follow your heart, that’s what he said, follow your heart please do

Only your heart, your dreams, your hopes

Will ever see you through

Others can never live your life

Others are not like you

No other soul understands your dreams

Others don’t walk in your shoes

When it's all said, when it's all done

Each soul must choose, must stand alone.

Must win, must lose, this race on earth

Before returning home.

Eternal Gain

Each little bird must try its wings
Before it can fly away
Each little daisy on its own
Weather the storm, the rain
Each human heart must learn to bare
Life's bitter prangs of pain
Knowing all tears cried on the earth
Will be eternal gain.

Patience
Patience you’re just like a Rosebush,
Full of thorns on every end,
Whenever I try to get near you,
You resist the touch of my hands
Still I perceive your painful pricks
Must not delay my trying,
To prune the branches, trim the Tree
Remove the Thorns, now part of me.
In future days I’m sure to find,
When patience will repay
When far above the thorns will smile
Sweet roses every day.
