Living Water (a song)

1) Brother standing by the river,

Sister walking by the sea.

Come partake of living water

That was made for you and me.

Come partake of living water

Don’t be thirsty any more.

As you journey on life’s highway

As you travel on the shore.

2) Oh! He looked and saw so many

In the early morning light.

Only few were there at sunset

As the day gave way to night.

Had they wandered in the desert?

Strayed too far, and lost their way?

Cannot hear their shepherd calling

Haste, make haste, come back today.

3)  Come partake of living water

Fill your soul with truth and light.

Don’t you know this living water

Lead’s you through the darkest night.

Come partake of living water,

Come and bask out in the sun.

Take the hand of one called Jesus,

And your best time’s just begun.
