Facts as they stand
There cannot be a joyous, heavenly Graduation
Without our mortal, at times bitter Education
To become a person of value, we must except
Guidance, Learning and Correction
Which our Parents and the Scriptures
So freely and willingly share with us
Written in Doctrine and Covenants
Section 130 verses 18 to 21 we read:
Whatever principle of intelligence we
Attain unto in this life, it will rise with us
In the resurrection,
And if a person gains more knowledge
And intelligence in this life through his
Diligence and obedience than another,
He will have so much the advantage
In the world to come.
There is a law, irrevocably decreed
In heaven before the foundations of
This world, upon which all blessings
are predicated
And when we obtain any blessing
From God, it is by obedience to that law
Upon which it is predicated.
Remember: Knowledge. Talents.
Compassion, Humility and Love
We need to grow in all these godly trades.
For without this our mortal Education
Father cannot grant a joyous Graduation.
