In
a TV interview November 2012 about Religion in America the theme
“Mormonism”, the public viewed an explicit outpouring of words
given by several good-looking ladies. One of these Ladies in obvious
shock responded as though she had to avoid the bite of a poisonous
snake.
“Mormonism
is a cult”
Did her experiences and point of view about the practise
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the fact that
is was something horrid and to be afraid of, come from her own
assumption, or did someone indoctrinate her?
If so ! Who?
From the experiences and studies by myself and many
other learned people we know that most of the falsehood are spread by
a well payed professional clergy afraid of loosing their
congregations and consequently their incomes as many are drawn to the
truths on Mormonism.

People that are unsure of their own views are the ones
that will generally react more violently to any opposition when
their existence is touched by it. In times passed we have observed
the same behavior of Communistic followers.
All these unsure people in high positions could not take
any kind of criticism. Often I had to listen to it:
“With
you (a Mormon) we will play the game of dictatorship of the proletariat's.”
Just
wait, we (communists) will show you!”
Again and again they would flex their muscles in the
days of their power between 1949-1989.
In comparison to the communistic followers we can state
that most of the mainstream professional church representatives often
are not as sure of what they say as they pretend to be.
In fact Christian preachers have their own Idea of how
to interpret things they read. This is especially noticeable in the
rangs of evangelical preaching..
Many know that often whole passages are based on mere
superstition.
In times past, this was part of the Roman Catholic
ethics questioning even the most basic concerns would transport many
to them to the dungeons.
One of my friends while searching for his forefathers
found a man that had lived in Basel (Swiss) in the year of 1580,
whilst on an pilgrimage in the company of two fellow monks,
well-known and trusted.
He mentioned that he had a problem in believing that
Mary conceived being a virgen.
This man was burnt for heresy.
The
teachings of predestination as taught by Augustine had to be accepted
by all: thus
God would choose from among all his children some that could do
whatever they pleased being assured salvation, whilst others were
destined to damnation.
The original teachings of Christ how ever proclaimed
that every soul has the right of free agency.
This Idea however was abandoned by so called
Christians..
Martin Luther, much respected by the older generation of
Mormons for the courage he showed in opposing the power of Rome.
Although his interpretations were not always correct, for instance:
“Gods abounding mercy will save every soul
believing in Christ, no
matter what their deeds.”
In
total agreement with Luther many Evangelicals, even those who have
studied the Holy Bible from cover to cover will nod their heads when
considering this phrase:
“Sola
gratia – mercy alone.”
As a long-standing politician and a Mormon I decry this
false doctrine.
“For behold,
justice exerciseth all his demands, and also mercy claimeth all which
is her own, and thus, none but the truly penitent are saved. “ Book
of Mormon, Alma 42: 24
Mormons belief that al thou there are differences in our
basic teachings they should not give us reasons to fight each
other.
We are here to think, to learn, and search for truth and
always stay true to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
As we remain true to the faith, our freedom is assured.
We do not alter truth by trying to be politically correct.
Superstitions driven by fear are still the broadest
highways encircling our earth.
The slogans proclaimed by rulers of the 20th century
have lead mankind to cruel world-wars.
“Traditional” Christianity has never been able to
avoid the cruel effects of violence.
At best there still remains too much stupidity. It is
time to wake up, to throw all that has not been proven good for
mankind over board.
Atheistic views , hypocritical performances with all the
trappings of paganism, words spoken without the sincere convictions
of our hearts amount to nothing.
These
days we think we are smart. On our foolishness and blindness we say
Joseph Smith was a liar because he preached and firmly stated that he
received revelation. That the restoration of all Gospel truth was to
be a blessing for all mankind. That it was given to unite all
Christians. But then there were Evangelical mobs that persecuted him,
hunted
him, killed him in the 39th
year of his life.
